Born in Stockholm in 1996, Acne (Ambition to Create Novel Expressions) was founded by Jonny Johansson. A perfect edit of off-duty separates and signature straight-legged denim, the casual-cool label is designed with minimalist styling. Globally recognised for its Stockholm street fashioning, Acne is rocked by the likes of Rihanna and Alexa Chung. One of its top-selling items is the Pistol ankle boot, which founder Johansson describes as "a mix of cowboy and motorcycle and riding boot." Other star pieces include the Shelby sweater, Cypress boot, Alma boot, knitwear, cashmere scarves and skinny denim jeans.
