Dinh Van, an exceptional French jewellery brand.
The jewellery and watchmaking brand Dinh Van came into being in 1965 at the initiative of Jean Dinh Van in Paris. One of the most remarkable and popular pieces the brand has created has to be the famous square pearl designed by Pierre Cardin. Another product which came out in 1976 and which was also a runaway success is Dinh Van handcuffs. At the end of the 1980s, the rope bracelet became one of the label's most powerful symbols, recognisable at first glance. This French label now counts 15 stores across the globe including shops in Paris and New York, Geneva and Brussels.
An inimitable style.
Dinh Van's feminine jewellery was born at the height of the 1960s in a context of creative effervescence. The brand's main objective was to give its customers luxury items they could wear on an everyday basis. One of the striking aspects of Dinh Van was the brand's adoption of the notion of minimalism in jewellery. Indeed, that set the brand apart from its rivals at the time. The designer enjoyed distancing itself from established codes, preferring to develop pieces embodying originality. The brand is still bringing out timeless collections of jewellery even now.
A flourishing jewellery label.
The brand Dinh Van diversified by developing a wide variety of items. As well as jewels, the label also creates luxury watches. It also intensified its international development with the opening of three stores in China in 2019. As for muses, Elettra Wiedemann fulfilled that role, especially for the Impression and Menottes collections. She represents free, independent women to perfection, the very same women we recognise in designs by the brand.
