... is quality over quantity! I have a very pared-back closet with things I adore and wear all the time – everything else I sell! I spend my time between London, Paris, and Hong Kong, so I have to be clever with my wardrobe. Quality pieces make packing easy as I own very similar items (wide-leg trousers, knitwear…) that I can split between my closets!
... Zoë Kravitz, she's the coolest girl out there for me; talented, low-key, and super stylish all at the same time.
Phoebe Philo, because I'd love to know all the secrets of the collection she's launching in July and Edward Enninful for making Vogue UK fresh and exciting. All these personalities resonate with my idea of style… it’s about being chic and bold, no matter what you wear. I like pieces that embody this perfectly, whether it's the perfect tote bag for work or current favorites like the Bone Cuff by Tiffany & Co.
... like everyone else! I love selling, it’s addictive. Seeing the interest in your items and finding someone who dreams about it is an expression of love towards the item and the buyer. It feels so good to know your piece will be loved and cared for by someone else, in continuity. Every day I check my alerts and the WeLove section. When I see something I love I always check out the person's profile – if they has great style, I'll follow them!
I also love trying to guess who's behind a seller profile; we have a lot of celebrities selling on Vestiaire and sometimes you can guess who it is just by looking at their style!
I love Prada. Miuccia is an example of a woman who has managed to stay at the top and to surround herself with the best talent by sharing the creative seat; an example of her humility and genius. I also love Phoebe Philo for creating collections for women who want to feel like themselves, empowered, chic, and comfortable. It's unique, I think.
