With a style which she describes as retro with a modern twist, Jane Birkin and Francoise Hardy both influence her style greatly. She loves the way French girls dress - always so chic!

1. What are your main reasons to shop vintage?
Well of course the best reason is sustainability and circular fashion, it’s the best way to shop and be completely environmentally friendly. It’s also a great way to express your style by owning and wearing something unique and one of a kind that no one else has. You can rediscover and re love beautiful vintage pieces, that you can style up in your own individual way.
2. Your most treasured vintage piece?
My tan vintage classic flap Chanel bag, it’s the perfect tan colour and goes with everything.
3. Your best fashion secret?
It’s not that much of a secret but buy less, and invest in quality pieces. I’ve found saving for what I really want rather than getting a cheaper alternative means I’ll love it longer and keep in my wardrobe for seasons to come.
4. The benefits of second-hand?
Second-hand shopping is a circular way of shopping, it’s environmentally friendly as it has zero impact to our planet and it’s a more responsible way of consuming fashion. It gives old garments a new lease of life, plus you are preventing something from becoming landfill.
5. What are the best ways to buy more sustainable fashion?
Vestiaire Collective of course. Vintage shops (online and your local), independent shops and small businesses, I’ve found lots of great sustainable designers through Instagram.
