How did you discover Vestiaire Collective?

I’ve been using it for over ten years now. I remember stumbling upon it when it was still very much a word-of-mouth service, back when it was called ‘Vestiaire de Copines’.

Who’s your ultimate style icon?

There are so many: Lady Diana, Sharon Tate, Joan Didion always do it for me. More recently, I have been looking a lot at Zoe Kravitz and Lolita Jacobs.

What brand or era is your favourite and why?

Prada in the ‘90s is the ultimate reference for pared-back chic. I also love the noughties but more for after-hours inspiration: Versace, Dior by Galliano, Calvin Klein, or Fendi.

What’s your best-kept sustainable fashion secret?

Clothes look much better when they are not boxfresh. Buying second-hand and wearing the things you invest in for many years will give you an edge over everyone who is obsessed with new things. In my humble opinion, things never look good when they have not been worn in.

How do you carry sustainability through to your everyday life?

Buying less. I always think of checking second-hand websites when I need something for my wardrobe. I also love to let my friends come and borrow from my closet. I also support brands who are eco-friendly such as Marcia, Marine Serre, Parade, Maison Cleo, and many more.
