Meet The Sellers: Charles Lam, Wil Fang & Jessi Chloe Chen

For our latest installment of the Meet The Seller series, we’d like to introduce you to Creative Director Charles Lam, the Founder of DPT Group and  Cookie DPT Wil Fang and entrepreneur Jessi Chloe Chen.

    Charles Lam

VC: Tell us about yourself. CL: I’ve always been a fashion lover, but I started working in advertising at first. Then faith brought me back to fashion and became a social media influencer ever since. I also own a production company, C1 Production, creating content for luxury, fashion and lifestyle brands. I’m also passionate about writing, I’ve been contributing to local publications such as Vogue Hong Kong and Ming Pao Weekly.

VC: Which one is the most precious item that you own?

CL: My first Hermès Kelly bag. Hermès is always my favorite brand, and when I found this Kelly bag in the perfect size and color, it was just a dream come true.

VC: What’s your best-kept fashion secret?

CL: “Fashions fade, style is eternal.” – Yves Saint Laurent

Don’t blindly follow trends, follow your heart. Always believe in the aesthetic that defines you and don’t give in because of what’s trending.

VC: What’s the item you’ll never sell?

CL: The first watch that my dad gave me, one of his favorite watches. It reminds me of him and how I got my passion for fashion from him.

VC: Top 3 brands for you?

CL: Bottega Veneta, Hermès and Dior.

    Wil Fang

VC: Tell us about yourself. WF: I was born and raised in the US, and studied engineering and business management. I started my career in fashion in New York City with Ralph Lauren and eventually moved onto Apple before starting my own company. Over the last 15 years, I’ve worked in business development, merchandising, planning, retail operations, marketing, content creation and brand management. At the moment, I’m managing The DPT Group full time, continuing to develop the F&B sector and building my company’s client portfolio for content creation and fashion consulting. Cookie DPT has gained a lot of momentum over the past year, so I’ve spent a lot of my time growing the brand and getting to know the industry.

VC: Which one is the most precious item that you own?

WF: I have a playoff game-worn Air Jordan XIII that’s autographed by Michael Jordan and the entire Chicago Bulls championship team.

VC: What’s your best-kept fashion secret?

WF: It wouldn’t be a secret if I told you! But I always dress by picking my shoes/sneakers first. Then put together the rest of my outfit.

VC: What’s the item you’ll never sell?

WF: I have a t-shirt I bought in my senior year in High School when I was visiting my future college campus. I still wear it at home every week.

VC: Top 3 brands for you?

WF: John Elliott, Ralph Lauren and Fear of God.

    Jessi Chloe Chen

VC: Tell us about yourself. JC: I am Shanghainese, born in Hong Kong and grew up between Melbourne and Hong Kong, where I'm based today. Fast forward a decade, I now have a hand in a few different pots. I am Co-founder of ANDRSN Flowers - an online florist with a penchant for roses, and Tushie Cakery - a baby gifting e-comm platform. Director at Fuin Real Estate - a luxury property developer with projects launching in Tokyo towards the end of year. I am also Partner at Talking Mental - a content creation agency working to fill the void in resources within the realm of mental health.

VC: Which one is the most precious item that you own?

JC: I have two - a vintage Piaget watch that belonged to my dad, and a Tiffany necklace from a dear friend of mine.
