Calvin Wang
Hi Calvin! Tell us a little about yourself.
I’m a fashion and luxury retail consultant at Fountainhead Projects, based in Hong Kong, and I work with brands to help them launch their businesses in Asia.
What was the first item you ever sold on Vestiaire?
I think it was an Hermès Kelly Lakis. I bought it thinking the size would be ok as a travel bag, but it was too small for my height…
What’s your favourite brand and why?
I love Hermès, Chanel, Lemaire, Loro Piana...I tend to like timeless brands that are good quality. They are always true to themselves, and create quality investment pieces that I can pull out any season and still feel in style.
How would you describe Vestiaire Collective in 3 words?
Sustainable, treasure hunt marketplace, additional income!
Winnie Young
Hi Winnie! Tell us a little about yourself.
I grew up in Australia and am now based in Hong Kong, and although I’ve always loved fashion, I worked in investment banking for many years. Now I enjoy being both a full time mom as well as a social media creator.
What was the first item you ever sold on Vestiaire?
I actually first became familiar with Vestiaire Collective through a campaign I was part of for their launch in Hong Kong in 2018. The first item sold was a pair of Vara pumps from Ferragamo, which sadly I could no longer fit into post-pregnancy!
What’s the item you dream of finding some day?
A Chanel Doll Minaudière from their 2010 Paris-Shanghai collection.
What’s your secret to a perfect listing on Vestiaire Collective?
Think like a buyer! This means including everything that you’d want to know and see, if you were the buyer. I also like to take my pictures in natural light to capture the item as close as possible to how it looks in reality.

Denise Lai
Hey Denise, tell us a little about yourself.
I’m a graphic and spatial designer based in Hong Kong. I work from home mostly with my fatty French Bulldog Sumo. I love plants, cooking, baking cakes and shopping!
How did you discover Vestiaire?
I heard about Vestiaire Collective through a few stylish girls I follow on Instagram and was so excited when I heard that they finally opened up shipping and shopping for Hong Kong!
What’s the item you dream of finding some day?
I've always been keeping an eye out for a Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama speedy - and I’ve spotted a few on Vestiaire right now!
What’s your favourite era in fashion?
My favourite era in fashion is right now: it’s the best time to be into fashion because you can pull references from any decade, and fashion is so accessible to everyone now at any price point, location and style. Also, there's more freedom now than ever to dress however you want.
