What was the first item you ever sold on Vestiaire Collective?
The first item I sold on Vestiaire was the cutest little Staud satin bag! I am still mourning the loss. This is the hard part of being a designer reseller, you have to part ways with beautiful things daily.
Who is your favorite American designer & why?
Top American designer is Tom Ford. No doubt. His career has been one to envy. In my opinion, his shoes are works of art.
Which American city do you think has the best street style & why?
LA is home but New York is fashion - I hope people don't come find me for that!
Who’s your style icon?
Bianca Jagger is life. What I wouldn't give to have all her outfits. Hats, berets, headbands, sequin dresses, chiffon goddess gowns, all of it.
If you won the lottery tomorrow, what’s the first fashion item you’d buy?
I would probably buy a Chanel Medium Flap bag and call it a day. I don't really like having a zillion bags; I like one bag that I can wear always and forever.
What was the first item you ever sold on Vestiaire Collective?
The first item I sold on Vestiaire Collective was a 2016 OAMC Peacemaker staff jacket. It was such a unique piece. I started selling on Vestiaire as a way to quickly rotate my closet, and I quickly fell in love with the second-hand market and now 90% of my closet is pre-owned.
Who is your favorite American designer & why?
I adore American designers like Staud and Rosie Assoulin who drape women in loads of bold, colorful fabric. They know how to make a girl feel beautiful without sacrificing comfort.
How would you describe American vs European fashion?
I would describe European fashion to be more refined & consistent, whereas Americans tend to dress in extremes. We spend the day in leisurewear and change directly into party dresses & heels for a night out.
Who’s your style icon?
Currently, I am obsessed with all things Danish and draw a lot of style inspiration from the up-and-coming designers & stylists coming out of Copenhagen.
What’s your favorite era of fashion history?
Hands down the `70s! Long hair, earthy florals, flare sleeves & high waisted denim. I'm so happy to see its current influence on the runway.
Who is your favorite American designer & why?
Always Phillip Lim. Design, craftsmanship, quality, price point. Everything is just right.
Which American city do you think has the best street style & why?
Hands down, New York. A global melting pot and a major player in the fashion scene that rivals any city in the world because of that. I love that both uptown and downtown have their own distinct styles.
What’s your favorite current fashion trend?
Masks. More of a necessity than a trend nowadays. My Louis Vuitton lace mask is coming into handy now more than ever. Only as a top cover though for obvious reasons!
Who’s your style icon?
Absolutely my mom. She’s been in fashion her whole life and passed on the passion (and her incredible pieces) to me. My Vestiaire closet is practically all her items!

Grace Kelly’s original Mark Cross overnight case from Hitchcock’s Rear Window.
What was the first item you ever sold on Vestiaire Collective?
I think the first thing I ever sold was my Balenciaga Triple S sneakers in all white. I think I found out about Vestiaire Collective through a bunch of different people over a period of time.
Which American city do you think has the best street style & why?
I’m going to be biased here since I live in New York, but the style here really is fantastic. It’s anything goes and that’s why I like that. The creative freedom and the different neighborhoods each with their own distinct style is great to witness.
How would you describe American vs European fashion?
I think the style in Europe overall, especially England, is more experimental and draws more from history than in America. Also I noticed that men in Europe tend to be into their style a lot more than American men.
What’s your favorite current fashion trend?
I’ve been obsessed with oversized puff sleeve dresses all summer. It’s the little girl outfit for grown ups and it’s been done so beautifully now that it doesn’t feel as literal as it could. I cannot wait to wear fuller dresses in heavier fabrics right into next season with boots.
What’s your favorite era of fashion history?
Has to be the ‘70s. The men and the women’s style too! I mean the rounded shirt collars, the hair styles, the corduroy, the colours, the shoes, it’s everything!!! I think it’s one of those decades that will forever be referenced and I am always hunting for something from that decade.
Who is your favorite American designer & why?
My favorite American designers are Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler. I’ve drawn to their brand because of its influences from modern art and youth culture, and its translation into contrasting geometric patterns, laser-cut detailing, and neon pops of color.
Which American city do you think has the best street style & why?
I grew up in Southern California, so I think the street style in Los Angeles is the best. The weather here doesn’t restrict you, so you’re free to experiment with a change in mood.
What’s your favorite current fashion trend?
Tops with glove-like coverings on the hands, like the Vetements glove bodysuit or pieces by Boris Bidjan Saberi, add an interesting tech accent or spry flair to a layered outfit.
Who’s your style icon?
I recently discovered and have been in love with the London-based music artist Coucou Chloe. Her music is just as cool-girl chic as her style. She reps brands such as Y/Project, Xander Zhou, and Hyein Seo.
If you won the lottery tomorrow, what’s the first fashion item you’d buy?
I’ve been eyeing the Rick Owens Hunrick Mink Bunny Bag for the longest time. The baby blue one is the cutest.
What was the first item you ever sold on Vestiaire Collective?
The first item I ever sold was a Chanel Black and White Tank Top with the logo in the center. What inspired me to sell this on Vestiaire was that it attracted an audience with great taste looking for beautiful pieces.
Who is your favorite American designer & why?
My favorite American designers are Virgil Abloh and Tom Ford. Virgil has completely changed the fashion industry by making day-to-day couture comfortable, while Tom creates everlasting pieces, beautifully crafted just like his films.
What’s your favorite current fashion trend?
My favorite current fashion trend is biker shorts because my thick thighs cannot wear denim shorts, and I also love crop tops.
What’s your favorite era of fashion history?
My favorite era of fashion would have to be the 90s. All of my favorite vintage pieces are from that era; Chanel crop tops, Vivienne Westwood corsets.
If you won the lottery tomorrow, what’s the first fashion item you’d buy?
I’d buy the Dior newspaper dress as seen on Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City. Early Dior 2000’s can have my money any day.
