What's Resale as a Service?

Resale as a Service (or RaaS as we like to call it) empowers brands and retailers to offer resale to their customers. Items are collected through a digital platform, and customers are rewarded with store credit. The items are then sold on Vestiaire Collective through a dedicated page. It's that simple.


RaaS offers our partners a unique proposition through our global community and years of expertise. RaaS is a proven tool to increase engagement with your existing customers and for acquiring new customers from the Vestiaire Collective community. RaaS also allows brands and retailers to enter resale without having to rely on intermediaries, enabling strong sell-through rates and the most profitable resale solution.


We can't transform the fashion industry on our own; the more our collective grows, the bigger the impact. Last year, we welcomed Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Mytheresa, Mulberry and Luisaviaroma. Stay tuned - this is just the beginning…

What other ways can brands test resale?

Consignment desks: Dedicate a (small) in-store space to a Vestiaire Collective consignment desk, enabling customers to drop their pieces off for resale with us.


Circularity collabs: Encourage customers to list their branded items on Vestiaire Collective. Once an item is sold, they receive a special gift or a unique experience from you.


Data partnerships: We can share access to data on brand resale dating back to 2009, on everything from bestsellers and prices, to client behavior.

How else can we transform fashion?

We work with brands, retailers and tech providers to create digital IDs for fashion items. The goal is to provide consumers with full transparency on the environmental impact of their items, and for them to be able to track every step of the journey, from sale to resale to end-of-life. We're also helping with discussions on environmental labelling, specifically on how to define durability, by freely sharing our data on the second-hand market.
