VC: Which one is the most precious item that you own?
HY: Everything I own is precious because I'm a hoarder lol. But if I had to choose, probably my first Kelly and Birkin because those were gifts for milestones in my life (like graduating university) and some jewelry and watches that were passed down or gifts for special occasions.
VC: What’s your best-kept fashion secret?
HY: You will never look homeless if you carry yourself well. Oh, and wearing expensive things doesn't always make you look expensive!
VC: What’s the item you’ll never sell?
HY: I have a Louis Vuitton Keepall passed down from my mom from when she was young. It has her initials on it (so really who's ever going to buy that) but also because it's lasted decades and I'm sure decades more... and my Proenza Schouler PS1. I remember that was my first designer bag that I saved up for and bought on my own.
VC: Top 3 brands for you?
HY: Currently... Nike, Sacai and Rhude.
VC: Which one is the most precious item that you own?
AB: If we are talking purely material items, I would say this one pair of vintage YSL sunglasses that belonged to my grandfather in the 70s which I found after he passed. I wear them quite often!
VC: What’s your best-kept fashion secret?
AB: I don’t think it’s much of a secret but red lipstick and a big pair of sunglasses make any outfit look chic!
VC: What’s the item you’ll never sell?
AB: Aside from the aforementioned sunglasses, I think of this onesie that both my kids wore as infants. That is one item I’ll keep and treasure!
VC: Top 3 brands for you?
AB: There has been such a shift in designers for brands that I find it hard to choose so I’ll name designers instead! A few designers I really appreciate arePhoebe Philo, Karl and Balenciaga.
VC: Which one is the most precious item that you own?
KH: The most precious item for me would probably be my Cartier Love bracelet with multi-coloured gemstones. It was gifted to me last year because I had a slight penchant for Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet from Avengers. Not because I wanted to destroy half of the universe or anything that dramatic, but I just thought it was some pretty bad-ass jewellery. Also, it's a Love bracelet and that bears some sentimental value.
VC: What’s your best-kept fashion secret?
KH: Hmmm, a secret? Well if I told you then it wouldn't be much of a secret then, right? Maybe I'll just describe my ethos for dressing instead. I'm a big-time believer of mixing high and low pieces when getting dressed. High-low can mean mixing luxury brands like Chanel with more "everyday" brands like Nike or Uniqlo, but it doesn't just have to apply to labels. I hate looking overdressed but also underdressed, so I like the best of both worlds. That means if I'm carrying something which I deem "fancy", such as an exotic skin bag, then I'll dress it down with some sportswear like a hoodie or sweats. Oh, and I've found jewellery to be an invaluable investment because a good wrist stack elevates any look by miles.
VC: What’s the item you’ll never sell?
KH: When I graduated from school, I got a two-tone Rolex Datejust which was a hand-me-down from my dad. I don't think I'll ever sell that because I like the idea of a family heirloom.
VC: Top 3 brands for you?
KH: The top three brands I find myself coveting over and integrating into my wardrobe the most are Prada, Chanel and Hermès. I think Prada does the right balance between fun and utilitarian, while Chanel and Hermès designs and craftsmanship are absolutely timeless.
