We've got a real treat for you: Together with some of Italy's biggest style icons - Anna Piaggi and Carla Sozzani - we're holding an exceptionally special sale of unique, vintage and couture pieces from their archives.
This sale coincides with a new exhibition at the Fondazione Sozzani in Milan of Karl Lagerfeld illustrations and the actual items, bridging the gap between fashion archives and circularity.
One of the first Italian journalists to write about fashion in the '60s, Anna's magazine columns have become legendary. Through her friendship with Vern Lambert, a trader at Chelsea Antiques Market in London, she 'discovered' vintage.
Carla grew up amid the fashion scenes in London and Milan, and as an influential magazine editor, she worked closely with Anna and her photographer husband Alfa Castaldi, creating iconic imagery and influencing millions.
Opening on 17th January at the Fondazione Sozzani in Milan, Via Enrico Tazzoli 3, "Anna Piaggi: Illustrations by Karl Lagerfeld” charts their collaborations. Alongside the imagery are a some unique archive items that will be sold to benefit the both Fondazione Sozzani and Associazione Culturale Anna Piaggi.
