We’ve partnered with Maje for an exclusive capsule collection of holiday looks from season’s past.
Founded in Paris in 1998, Maje is all about bold, modern fashion with a Parisian edge. Designer Judith Milgrom creates accessible pieces with quirky details and a glamorous edge.
Ahead of the holidays, we’re bringing you an exclusive capsule collection from seasons past that celebrates timeless style. Here, Judith tells us about her creative process, and how Maje is becoming more sustainable:
What are some of your favorite pieces from this capsule?
I have a weakness for the brightly colored pieces - I think adding a pop of color will always make you look good!
What does sustainability mean to you?
To me, sustainability is about our relationship with nature and our dreams for the future. For the last few seasons, we’ve been working with fabrics that are more respectful of the planet, and we are proud to say that 30% of our current collection is sustainable.
How does timelessness factor into your design process?
I try to make clothes that women can wear during every moment of their lives and can be passed on from mother to daughter, or from woman to woman.
What is Maje doing to be more sustainable?
It’s a matter of rethinking the materials we use and the ways we create. Some examples we’ve been working toward include eliminating single-use plastics, redesigning our stores with sustainable materials, decreasing air transport in our supply chain, and giving a second life to our fabrics.
