Loro Piana, six generations of luxury products.
You have to go back to 1924 to discover the origins of Loro Piana. The brand manufactures luxury goods and high quality textiles in northern Italy. Right from the start, the Italian house Loro Piana made a name for itself with its rare and precious materials. It is no coincidence that the brand has become the number 1 cashmere in the world in a century! Among Loro Piana's key materials, we find, for example, "baby cashmere" straight from Mongolia or vicuña fiber from the Andes.

For more than a century, Loro Piana has strived to produce unique luxury garments, from Mongolian fiber to vicuna and cashmere. In 2013, Loro Piana's know-how was recognized by the greatest fashion institution in the world: the brand joined the LVMH group. The Italian brand will then continue to draw on its heritage while expanding its range and strengthening its network of stores.
Over the years and decades, Loro Piana clothing has always stood out for its noble and refined materials.
The exceptional raw materials used by Loro Piana.
To produce its high-end textiles, Loro Piana uses the finest raw materials available on the market: cashmere, vicuña and fiber from Mongolia.
- Cashmere, used for centuries for its exceptional insulating properties, is recognized as one of the most prized noble materials throughout the world. In the Loro Piana workshop, it is finely and carefully worked by experienced craftsmen to create ultra-luxurious and refined textiles.
- Vicuna, also known as vicugna or vicuna, is a fine and rare fiber native to southern South America. This historic fiber is known to be extremely warm and soft, making it ideal for cold weather. Maison Loro Piana began working with this material in the 1990s and continues to explore its possibilities today.
- Mongolian fiber, on the other hand, comes from a specific type of domesticated camel native to northwest China. Known for being warm, durable and comfortable, it is highly prized by Loro Piana for its resistance and exceptional insulating properties.
