Precision meets style in the Captain Cook —a timepiece built for those who demand performance in every setting. The 39 mm polished stainless-steel case, is paired with a polished stainless steel turning bezel and a polished black ceramic insert, engraved with white markers and triangle in white Super-LumiNova®. Topped with a box-shaped sapphire crystal, forged at temperatures over 2,000°C and coated with anti-reflective layers on both sides, the crystal offers exceptional clarity and scratch resistance, only surpassed by diamond in hardness. At its core beats the Calibre R763, a self-winding movement developed for uncompromising reliability. Engineered with 25 jewels and regulated in five positions, it ensures precise timekeeping under the most demanding conditions. The movement is equipped with an antimagnetic Nivachron™ hairspring. With a robust 80-hour power reserve, the R763 exemplifies technical mastery and mechanical resilience, embodying the spirit of Swiss engineering and Rado’s continued pursuit of horological excellence. The black to turquoise gradient dial reflects a pure expression of refined aesthetics. Rhodium-coloured indexes and hands are coated with white Super-LumiNova®, while the date guichet at 3 o’clock and the iconic rotating anchor on a ruby backplate underscore the dial’s meticulous attention to detail. The design is completed by a polished and brushed stainless steel rice grain bracelet, secured by a stainless steel 3-fold clasp for a seamless fit. Water-resistant to 30 bar (300 m), the Captain Cook is ready for adventure—uniting Swiss precision with contemporary elegance.
