Zenith mechanical Gay Freres, hand-wound watch, 70s, with the famous Ladder Bracelet created by Gay Freres for Zenith, very rare and hard to find strap, inside the clasp you can see the famous Gay Freres stamp, 1/72 indicates the year of production. The ends of the bracelet are original and as you can see also engraved with the letters ZN, or Zenith, bracelet with 12 mm ends and total length of 17 centimeters, so it is suitable for wrists up to a maximum of 19 centimeters, then it depends on the case you want to mount it on, but with this case I would say a maximum of 19. Square case measuring 22x22 mm, measurements taken excluding crown and lugs, original crown with logo, quite damaged dial, in fact the Zenith writing has almost completely disappeared, the indexes are very oxidized, original Zenith hand-wound movement (see photo). Being a vintage item from the 70s it is normal that it has the classic signs of time, that is those scratches due to the passing of time (see photo) but nothing so important to report, watch in perfect working order.

Zenith meccanico Gay Freres, orologio a carica manuale, anni 70,  con il celebre bracciale Ladder Bracelet creato da Gay Freres per zenith, cinturino molto raro e difficile da reperire, all’interno della clasp si vede il celebre timbro della Gay Freres, 1/72 sta ad indicare l’anno di produzione. I finali del bracciale sono originali e come si vede anche incisi dalle lettere ZN, ovvero Zenith, bracciale con finali da 12 millimetri e lunghezza totale di 17 centimetri, quindi va bene a polsi per massimo direi di 19 centimetri, poi dipende dalla cassa a cui lo si vuole montare, ma con questa cassa io direi massimo 19. Cassa quadrata da 22x22 millimetri misure prese escludendo corona e anse, corona originale con logo, quadrante abbastanza rovinato, infatti la scritta zenith è quasi scomparsa del tutto, gli indici sono molto ossidati, movimento a carica manuale originale zenith(vedere foto). Essendo un oggetto vintage degli anni 70 è normale che abbia i classici segni del tempo, ovvero quei graffi dovuti dal tempo che passa(vedere foto) ma niente di così importante da segnalare, orologio perfettamente funzionante.
