A handsome 1970s Zenith Surf, reference 01.1670.360, in a brushed stainless steel cushion case with stepped lugs, presenting a clean matte white dial with painted black Arabic numerals and slim two-hand layout — powered by a Swiss manual-wind Zenith calibre and fitted to a steel mesh bracelet.

Zenith is one of the great names in Swiss watchmaking, founded in Le Locle in 1865 and continuously producing in-house movements ever since — most famously the legendary El Primero high-frequency chronograph. The Surf line was the brand's accessibly-priced 1970s sport-dress range, paired with reliable manual-wind Zenith calibres in clean cushion cases.

The dial has aged beautifully and remains very crisp: a softly matte white surface with finely printed black Arabic numerals at every hour in a slightly stylised period font, slim black sword-style hour and minute hands and the discreet Zenith signature near three o'clock. The brushed steel cushion case is in good honest order, with the “Surf — Stainless Steel — 01.1670.360” markings clear inside the caseback alongside the Zenith star emblem.

It is fitted to a stainless steel mesh bracelet — a fitting period pairing for the cushion case — with a folding clasp. With a calliper-measured case width of 30mm the watch wears compactly: comfortably proportioned for a smaller wrist or as a refined unisex daily-wear piece.
