Delve into the archives with a true holy grail of elegance. We are immensely proud to offer you this exceptionally rare travel bag from the legendary and dearly missed Parisian house of Arnys.

Identified in the 2001 catalog excerpt as the "Valparaiso" model, this very spacious weekend bag is crafted with exceptional expertise in black box calfskin leather. Its understated and elegant exterior gives way to a vibrant orange interior. This subtle and brilliant contrast perfectly captures the bohemian and unique spirit for which Arnys was renowned.

This bag is brimming with refined details. It features a branded silver padlock, matching keys stored in a signature triangular clochette, and an engraved metal plaque inside indicating that it is a numbered edition (No. 0124). The clean, geometric lines of the leather flaps and the included luggage tag exude that unmistakable Left Bank elegance. It comes with its original shoulder strap, leather luggage tag, and key bell.

Superb vintage condition. The smooth leather of the case has developed a beautiful patina, with some superficial scratches that are perfectly normal for such delicate, high-quality leather. Please note that the leather zipper pulls show some signs of wear, as shown in the detailed photos. Additionally, two of the metal protective feet on the base are missing; a skilled cobbler could easily replace them.

A museum-quality piece, a testament to the history of Parisian menswear. Unique pieces like this are extremely rare on the market!
