A rare authentic vintage piece from the late 1980s — an era when garments were made to last for decades, not seasons.

This jacket was produced by Peak Performance (est. 1986), then a small Scandinavian outdoor/workwear label guided by the philosophy “Man and Nature in Perfect Harmony,” inspired by nature, traditional workwear, and timeless American heritage aesthetics.

Crafted from 100% genuine suede in a beautiful warm rust-brown shade, the jacket features a classic workwear-inspired silhouette that feels especially relevant again today. The contrasting leather collar adds depth, character, and highlights its true vintage origins.

The construction is exceptionally thoughtful and functional:
— inner zipper closure
— outer snap-button fastening for double protection against wind and cold

Inside, the jacket is lined with soft patterned cotton featuring an ethnic-inspired design, combined with a synthetic insulated layer that makes it genuinely warm and comfortable for everyday wear.

Condition is very good for its age:

My husband wore it with great pleasure back in the day, but we are now parting with cherished pieces due to relocation.
