Original MADE in USA 501/1947, aged directly by Levi's. By 1947, even though the war was over, America had changed a lot and the 501® changed with it. The end of rationing had allowed the return of some familiar features of the 501®, such as the rivets on the watch pocket. But it had also introduced some updates in response to the changes of the era and the emergence of the middle class, such as a modern, more fitted cut, and the removal of superfluous details such as drawstring fastening and suspender buttons. And the bow on the back pocket, no longer applied with paint like during the war, had definitely changed. Thanks to the new double-needle technology, the famous double-arch stitch could be mass-produced with uniform designs and dimensions: it was therefore no longer subject to the sewing skills of the individual worker. 340 gram line. An archive reproduction of the 501® from 1947. A model with a more fitted cut, in line with post-war tastes. Made with rivets on the watch pocket for the first time since the start of the war it features uniform arcs on the back pockets, thanks to double needle technology. Features two rear pockets with hidden rivets finished with a large single-faced Red Tab “E” Two Horse Pull leather patch. Actual measurements as per photo.

Originale MADE in USA 501/1947, invecchiato direttamente da Levi's. Nel 1947, nonostante la guerra fosse finita, l’America era molto cambiata e i 501® cambiarono insieme a lei. La fine dei razionamenti aveva permesso il ritorno di alcune caratteristiche familiari dei 501®, come i rivetti del taschino per orologio. Ma aveva anche introdotto alcuni aggiornamenti in risposta ai mutamenti dell’epoca e all’emergere della classe media, come un taglio moderno e più aderente, e la rimozione di dettagli superflui come l’allacciatura con cordino e i bottoni per le bretelle. E l’arco sulla tasca posteriore, non più applicato con la vernice come durante la guerra, era decisamente cambiato. Grazie alla nuova tecnologia a doppio ago, il famoso punto a doppio arco poteva essere prodotto in massa con design e dimensioni uniformi: non era quindi più soggetto alle capacità di cucitura del singolo operaio.  Line da 340 grammi. Una riproduzione d’archivio dei 501® del 1947 .Un modello con un taglio più aderente, in linea con i gusti del dopoguerra. Realizzato con rivetti sul taschino per orologio per la prima volta dall’inizio della guerra presenta archi uniformi sulle tasche posteriori, grazie alla tecnologia a doppio ago. Presenta due tasche posteriori con rivetti nascosti rifinita con una grande “E” Red Tab mono facciale toppa in pelle Two Horse Pull.
