Splendid pair of iconic Dr. Martens 1460 8-eyelet combat boots, from the prestigious "Made in England" line and handcrafted in the historic original factory in Wollaston.
This is an authentic vintage piece dating back to the late 90s or early 2000s, a golden age for the brand when production was still entirely British and used materials of a resilience like the black Quilon leather, which is hard to find in modern industrial models today. The size is a UK 8, which corresponds exactly to a European 42.
As a piece with over twenty years of history, the boots show the signs of time that confirm their originality and character: the leather has natural movement creases and some cracks and abrasions on the toe, as highlighted in the detail photos. Despite the superficial aesthetic wear, the shoe's structure is extremely solid, the leather is thick and already softened, and the sole is still in excellent condition with a well-defined tread.
