The Bapesta is BAPE’s most iconic sneaker, designed by Nigo as a Japanese reinterpretation of the Nike Air Force 1.

Era: It’s from the mid-2000s to 2008, when Nigo still owned and designed for A Bathing Ape. That period (2002–2009) is regarded by sneaker collectors as the golden era of BAPE — the shoes were made in smaller runs, often in Japan, and had unique colourways like your metallic/psyche blue.

Model: The Bapesta itself is a streetwear icon. It’s the sneaker that symbolised early 2000s hip-hop fashion — worn by Pharrell, Kanye West, and Big Sean — so originals from that era hold nostalgic and cultural value.
