Nat & Nin, casual leather goods with retro charm.
Launched in 2005, Nat & Nin create leather goods, accessories and leather handbags in a style that is vintage and relaxed. The pieces in the collections, such as the iconic Heleen bowling bag are also characterised by their multitude of pockets. A specification imposed by the label's designers, who have made elegance and practicality their bywords.
Leather, a family heritage.
From a young age, Nathalie and Ninny used to spend their days in the workshop where their parents created handbags for French fashion houses. At that time, the two sisters already loved the smell and feel of leather, and its transformation. Their destiny was already mapped out, they would become makers of leather goods. In 2005, aged 19 and 25 respectively, Nat and Nin presented their first collection of handbags and small leather goods. The full grain leather was crafted with finesse unveiling seams oversewn several times, bearing witness to the meticulous care afforded by the two designers to the articles they created. Being pragmatic, they never lost track of the primary function of their bags and small pouches, and equipped them with multiple spaces for storing all those essentials. Nat & Nin, with their practical elegance, rapidly won over the hearts of French ladies, who appreciated the skills used to create the bags.
At Nat & Nin, the handbags have a retro feel and come adorned with a touch of fantasy in the details, such as metal studs, leather tassels, chain straps and bows. Functional in their elegance, they are also completed with the perfect finishings, as are the leather accessories and various Nat & Nin leather purses.
A brand that's really taking off.
After a few years spent concentrating on handbags and women's accessories, in 2012, Nat & Nin launched a collection of men's leather goods, Antonyme by Nat & Nin. With graphic lines, these masculine items are finished with studs, piping or straps, adding an original twist. At the same time, the fashion house was developing a range of leather accessories for everyday high-tech objects, smartphones and MP3 players. In 2015, to celebrate the brand's 10-year anniversary, Nat & Nin partnered up with Émilie, who is behind the fashion blog The Brunette. They gave her the opportunity of designing the interior lining for a capsule collection of 5 handbags, for which she chose bright colours and funky motifs, at the opposite end of the scale to the solid colours usually chosen by the two sisters.
Each season, Nat & Nin adds to its range of items with new pieces of leather goods that are both practical and elegant in design. Certain amongst them reflect the casual, vintage universe that makes up the signature of the two sisters:
