Vintage Jean Paul Gaultier belt in metal, leather, and enamel, in multiple colors. CONDITION AND SIZE ⬇️
Limited edition creation for the 25th anniversary of the Gaultier house from 1976 to 2001, with an anniversary inscription engraved on the back of the belt's central piece. A belt particularly rich in details expressed across three pieces of antique silver-plated metal, reminiscent of traditional Native American or Tibetan jewelry. A large curved central piece in two parts screwed together: a sculpted relief element in aged silver-plated metal featuring, in the center, a coat of arms with the profile of Jean Paul Gaultier on the inside, and above, almost on the surface, the couturier's "scissors" emblem. The coat of arms has depth and is adorned with turquoise enamel, enhancing its interior design. This coat of arms is surrounded by eagle wings on three levels that ascend like a staircase. This sculpted element is screwed into a base with the engraving of a banner in the center of which is engraved "Jean Paul Gaultier". The two other silver metal elements are located to the left and right of the central element, they are smaller and are articulated with rings. These elements represent 3D coats of arms of atypical shape because more elongated, also garnished with turquoise enamel (enamel is a varnish consisting of a vitreous product, colored, melted, then solidified, with which certain objects are covered to protect them or make them shiny). Female/male coat of arms sculpted internally: male coat of arms, bust of a mannequin in a sailor shirt, engraved with a medieval banner in which is written "house founded in 1976" Female coat of arms, bust of a mannequin in a strapless dress and relief, engraved in the background a medieval type banner written "gaultier". Two long, square-shaped, raw-cut leather straps in dark brown, allowing for several wear options: as a necklace, on the chest in bondage style, on the waist, on the hip, etc. Original quilted-style dust bag with a magnetic flap.

🎬 Three anniversary belts were created: one identical to this one without enamel and a version with a single central piece and chains with hooks. This version is, in my opinion, the most beautiful, the most crafted, and the rarest.

🪞Excellent vintage condition due to little use and long storage being suboptimal. The metal had developed a patina, especially on the back. I used a professional cleaning product, and the silver shine returned to its original form! Intentionally micro-scratched with a brushed metal effect and deliberately blackened in the engraving spaces, like aged silver! The metal also naturally leaves marks on the gray edges. The leather is in perfect condition, handcrafted with a raw cut that creates micro-creases and differences in color. The enamel has some minor abrasions (photo). The metal element is perfectly screwed on but moves naturally for ease of use. A trace on the dust bag.

Ceinture Jean Paul Gaultier vintage en matière métal, cuir et émaille, de couleur multiple. ÉTAT ET TAILLE ⬇️
Création édition limitée pour les 25 ans de la maison Gaultier de 1976 à 2001, mention anniversaire gravée à l'arrière de la pièce centrale de la ceinture. Une ceinture particulièrement riche de détails qui s'expriment sur trois pièces en matériau métal argenté ancien dont l'univers rappelle les bijoux traditionnels des indiens d'Amérique ou les bijoux tibétains. Grande pièce centrale incurvée en deux parties vissées l'une à l'autre : un élément relief sculpté en métal argenté vieilli qui arbore, au centre, un blason doté intérieurement du profil de Jean Paul Gaultier puis au-dessus, presque à la surface, l'emblème "ciseau" de couturier. Le blason ayant une profondeur, il est garni d'email de teinte turquoise qui magnifie son décor intérieur. Ce blason est entouré d'ailes d'aigle sur 3 étages qui montent comme un escalier. Cet élément sculpté est vissé dans un socle avec la gravure d'une bannière au centre de laquelle est gravée "Jean Paul Gaultier". Les deux autres éléments en métal argenté se situent à gauche et à droite de l'élément central, ils sont plus petits et s'y articulent grâce à des anneaux. Ces éléments représentent des blasons 3D de forme atypique car plus allongés, également garni d'émail turquoise (l'email est un vernis constitué par un produit vitreux, coloré, fondu, puis solidifié, dont on recouvre certains objets pour les protéger ou les rendre brillants). Blason feminin/masculin sculpté intérieurement : blason homme buste de mannequin en marinière, gravé d'une bannière médiévale dans laquelle est écrit "maison fondée en 1976" Blason femme buste de mannequin en robe bustier et relief, gravé dans le fond une bannière type médiévale écrit "gaultier". Deux longues lanières de cuir de forme carré, en découpe brute, de couleur marron foncé qui permettent plusieurs ports possibles : collier, sur buste façon bondage, taille, hanche...Dust bag d'origine façon matelassé avec rabat aimanté.

🎬 Trois ceintures anniversaire ont été créées : une identique à celle-ci sans émail et une version avec une seule pièce centrale et des chaînes avec crochet. Cette version est à mon goût la plus belle, la plus travaillée et la plus rare

🪞Condition vintage excellente car peu utilisée et long stockage non optimal. Le métal s'était patiné, surtout sur la face arrière, j'ai utilisé un produit nettoyant pro et la brillance de l'argenté est revenue comme à sa genèse ! Volontairement micro-rayé par effet métal brossé et volontairement noirci dans les interstices de gravures, à l'image de l'argent vieilli ! Le métal fait aussi naturellement des traces sur bordure grises. Le cuir parfait état réalisation artisanale avec une découpe brute qui fait des micro pliures et des différences de teinte. L'émail possède de rares frottements (photo) L'élément de métal est parfaitement vissé mais bouge naturellement pour l'aisance. Une trace sur Dust bag.
