This scarf was created for the Year of India and is inspired by a silk bed hanging embroidered with gold thread from Varanasi, now in the dining room of the French Ambassador to India. The hanging depicts hunting scenes. Hunters on elephants, horses, or on foot pursue tigers, gazelles, birds, and more.

Published in 1986, reissued in 1990 and 2013

Carré créé pour l'année de l'Inde et inspiré d'une tenture de lit en soie brodée de fils d'or venant de Bénares et se trouvant aujourd'hui dans la salle à manger de l'ambassadeur de France en Inde. Cette tenture représente des scènes de chasse. Les chasseurs à dos d'élèphants, à cheval ou à pied poursuivent tigres, gazelles, oiseaux.....
