According to "Carré de Paris" the original scarves from 1966 are recognizable by the wide colored border. In the newer versions the background simply continues to the rolled border.

With original care label (!)

If you want an original Hermes Carré box, bid the asking price on this scarf. With a lower bid the scarf will be sold without box. I do not sell the box separately.

Very very nice condition considering the age of 58 years!
The silk is still beautifully heavy and shiny, the rolled hem is round and full, the colors are intense.

The scarf has been worn little, but life has left some small traces ... look carefully at the photos.

- ballpoint pen on the yellow background 
(a good dry cleaner might be able to do something about this)
- pulled threads 
(caused in the dry cleaner by the careless application of the customer label 🥲)
- and a tiny pale spot next to the "Hermès - Paris"

Volgens "Carré de Paris" zijn de originele sjaals uit 1966 herkenbaar aan de brede rand in kleur. In de nieuwere versies loopt de achtergrond gewoon door tot aan de rolrand.

Met origineele care label  (!)

Wil je een originele Hermes Carré doos erbij, bied de vraagprijs op deze sjaal. Bij een lager bod wordt de sjaal zonder doos verkocht. Ik verkoop de doos niet apart.

Zeer zeer mooie staat gezien de leeftijd van 58 jaar !
De zijde is nog steeds mooi zwaar en glanzend, de gerolde zoom is rond en vol, de kleuren zijn intensief.

De sjaal is weinig gedragen, maar het leven heeft wel enkele kleine sporen achter gelaten ... kijk goed op de foto's.
- balpen op de gele achtergrond 
(hier kan een goede droogkuis misschien wel iets aan doen)
- getrokken draadjes 
(o.a. veroorzaakt in de droogkuis door het achteloze aanbrengen van het klant etiket 🥲)
- en een minuscuul bleek vlekje naast de "Hermès - Paris"
