CHANEL Vintage 1986 Lambskin Flap Bag Beige Gold Hardware *Rare* Collectors Item
This vintage 1986 Chanel bag is a true collectors' item. It was produced at the time Karl Lagerfeld was the creative director of the maison. It is unique due to the "double c" logo encased in a beautiful 24k gold-plated frame. 

Authenticity: verified with Entrupy (see pic) by the London store "Bagista". 

Type: Envelope Flap bag, matelasse' (quilted)

Leather: Lambskin (incredibly soft)

Hardware: 24k gold plated. This is from the period where Chanel was using real gold. 

Colour: Beige

Dimensions: 27cm x 19cmx 7cm; strap length: 95cm total; drop length: 43cm.

Condition: 

Outside: Good. There are some signs of wear, as you can see from the pics. Some slight (and very small) discolouration on the bottom right corner of the flap; some darkening of the leather on one of the top left diamonds (hard to see); the rectangle where the CC logo is encased is not perfectly straight - this is due to the leather being very soft, and the passage of time. All of this is not very noticeable, but I wanted to bring it to your attention; slight loss of shape on the sides and some creases due to age. 

Inside: Very good conditions, clean. 

Hardware: Chain: very good conditions, no oxidation or peeling. Inside button (not visible) has some signs of tarnish. May be gold-plated again if desired.


Please note that this is a vintage bag and will show some imperfections due to its age. 

The bag features two spacious inner pockets and a zipped pocket. It is a great bag for both day and evening. It goes with everything.

The bag comes with a generic dust bag, not a Chanel one.
