Something geometric and a bit formal stood out during 2013 when Chloe debut its Amelia design with a metallic strap and the kind of shape even your grandmother would enjoy, the right choice to wear with a more streamlined wardrobe. And all the better if it’s crafted from an unabashedly luxe material. Such was this Amelia small shoulder flap bag which combined fabric striped fabric panels on underside and black panels that vaguely look like snakeskin, but are actually ostrich leg, to create an Art Deco piece that’s slightly, and sublimely, off-kilter for spring. Made in Italy. Will ship with dust bag.
