Also referred to as "Veau Taurillon Clemence," this magnificent masculine cowhide has a large but shallow grain, giving the material a matte effect. Scratch-resistant like Togo, Clemence was first used by Hermès in the mid-1980s. Named in homage to the daughter of the designer who introduced it into the collections, this leather was developed for luggage and is the ultimate example of a full-grain leather that has been tumbled. This process softens the skin and brings a generous grain to the surface. Changes over time: Becomes more supple. Feel: Soft and supple.
The story behind it Since 1978, this bag has enchanted everyday riders. Originally intended for horse care, it is sewn without a lining and lightened with an "H" perforation, which then initiates wear on the body to allow the gear to dry.
