Archival Christian Dior Boutique by John Galliano F/W 2001 Corset Suede Blazer

An exquisite archival piece from Christian Dior Boutique’s Fall/Winter 2001 collection, designed under the legendary creative direction of John Galliano.

Masterfully tailored in France from exceptionally soft 100% chèvre velours — luxurious velvet-finished goatskin suede — this blazer beautifully captures Galliano’s signature celebration of dramatic femininity and sculpted proportions.

The design features sharply defined notched lapels, a refined two-button closure, and intricate multi-panel vertical seam construction extending across both the front and back. These corset-inspired lines closely contour the body, cinching the waist to create an elegant and distinctly feminine hourglass silhouette.

Its sharply panelled, waist-defining construction reflects the corset-led tailoring seen throughout Christian Dior’s Fall/Winter 2001 runway collection.

Rendered in a rich warm cognac-brown tone, the jacket combines timeless equestrian sophistication with the unmistakable sensuality of Galliano-era Dior. A rare and highly collectible investment piece from one of the House’s most coveted archival periods.
