Vintage. CHANEL – Runway Coat – Look 23
Autumn/Winter 2011–2012
Karl Lagerfeld – Size 38 – Never worn.
Iconic piece from the Chanel Autumn/Winter 2011–2012 show, Look 23, designed by Karl Lagerfeld.
This coat represents Karl's so-called 'modern structure' period of the early 2010s, where Chanel tweed was reinterpreted with a strong architectural approach.
Made from textured navy tweed, it features graphic sleeves composed of contrasting fringed bands in deep green and ivory—a strong signature of the collection.
Ivory contrast collar structuring the silhouette.
Square silver-tone metal buttons engraved with the double C.
Full Camellia jacquard silk lining with signature chain at the hem.
Model presented at the official show at the Grand Palais. The runway coats from this Karl period are sought after for their structured construction and timeless modernity.
