Junya Watanabe Fall 2006 Grail N-3B Oversized Military Parka Coat S Size: S Shoulders: 19" Chest: 21" Length: 36" Sleeve: 23" Measurements are measured on one side with garments laid flat (waist and hips are doubled) and are provided as a courtesy only and are not a guarantee of fit. Notes: From one of the most important and influential collections by Rei Kawakubo's prodigy, Junya Watanabe's Fall 2006 "Deconstruction, Reconstruction" is the fantastical creation of Watanabe's love of punk culture and his obsession with deconstruction. The collection was heavily inspired by punk fashion. From the punk rock and taxi driver models wearing earth-toned military wear, the garments themselves tend to showcase their own painstaking, bricolage-like process of deconstruction and reconstruction into a final garment. This particular piece is inspired by the N-2B/N-3B military jackets, which stands out for its unique split hood design, which has since also become a Junya staple. The piece is a highlight of the collection, a piece that single-handedly defines the careful relationship between military and punk fashion. The coat is made of nylon and padded with polyester, making it quite warm and suitable for autumn temperatures. The coat can be zipped or buttoned. The coat has several pockets, one on the left shoulder as inspired by the original garment, and two pockets near the waist that can also access the inside of the coat Made in Japan *Due to the material, it is quite difficult to showcase it up close with the right colors, please refer to the model photos or runway photos Composition: 100% Nylon Lining: 100% Nylon Padding: 100% Polyester Hood Lining: 100% Polyester + 100% Acrylic Accents: 100% Cowhide Leather Condition: 4.5/5 (as new, little to no signs of use) Defects: N/A Price (shipping included): $1,500 About Dusty-archive: We specialize in archival clothing for men and women.
