Reversible Double-Faced Leather Coat by LOEWE, from the last collection designed by Narciso Rodriguez for the house before his departure. A piece with historical value within the brand and a perfect example of his aesthetic vision.

Narciso Rodriguez, the New York designer of Cuban origin, became a benchmark of sophisticated minimalism in the 1990s. His name definitively entered fashion history when he created Carolyn Bessette's iconic wedding dress for her marriage to John Kennedy Jr., a design that became a symbol of modernity and purity. Both died tragically shortly afterward in a plane crash, and that moment marked not only the collective memory but also the public perception of the designer's work, associated with understated elegance and timeless lines.

This coat is part of Narciso Rodriguez's final period at LOEWE, and therefore is constructed with the codes that defined his personal style. A straight, clean cut, without darts at the bust or any embellishments in the construction. He designed for an eclectic, rigorous, understated, very modern, and at the same time profoundly sensual woman, and this piece perfectly reflects that philosophy: absolute purity of line, perfect proportions, and an absence of superfluous elements.

It's a reversible, double-faced lambskin coat, with a soft-touch gray mical-suede exterior/interior and a solid natural fur interior/outterior that provides warmth with a surprisingly light weight. The funnel collar can be worn closed with two horn buttons engraved with LOEWE or open, revealing the inner fur. The pockets are integrated into the seam to maintain the visual cleanliness of the design and can be turned sideways to ensure the garment is properly reversible.

Straight to the knee, clean shoulders, no rigid structure, designed to be shaped by the body as it's worn. It adapts well to different silhouettes and can work for everything from a relaxed style to a refined urban look.

The coat has been worn, but is in good condition, with the expected wear of a natural fur garment, retaining all its dignity as a luxury piece.

A unique opportunity to acquire a historic design with character, discretion, and timeless elegance. A LOEWE with soul, designed by one of the most influential designers in contemporary minimalism.
