Marc Jacobs

Grey

A rare, elaborately hand-embellished sleeveless denim gilet from Marc Jacobs (main line), fusing military-surplus references with couture-level craft. Built on a washed grey trucker-style body — button front, chest pockets, back yoke — reworked sleeveless with raw, deliberately frayed armholes for an undone, deconstructed edge.
The detailing is extraordinary and entirely hand-applied: gold embroidered chevron/sergeant-stripe patches at the collar, pockets and epaulettes; metal star studs; and dense clusters of branded mother-of-pearl "Marc Jacobs" buttons secured with multicoloured embroidery threads. The back is anchored by a bold radiating medallion of chevrons and buttons. Black epaulette tabs at the shoulders complete the military feel.
A true collector's statement piece — layer it over a tee, shirt or knit, or wear it as the centrepiece on its own.
