This flowing elegant virgin wool knit dress is a typical Ann Demeulemeester masterwork. It dates from one of the best periods of the career of this member of the famous "Antwerp Six".
The back panels at the back of the dress can be fastened or unfastened with two push buttons at the side (one at the shoulder and one at the waist), what creates a number of style possibilities for the wearer, as shown on the runway.
Draped neckline, long slit at the back.
The dress is based on a simple rectangle but subtle structural details make it into an asymmetrical, very fluid and feminine model. Very minimalistic but with a 30s feel.
Fabric tag: 100% virgin wool (very soft). Made in Belgium.
Size tag: 40 FR but works for smaller sizes too (the resin mannequin is a 36 FR and it fits beautifully).
Excellent condition, no problem.
