This is the perfect Alaïa POWER suit! An architectural marvel from the Fall/Winter 1987 collection.
Made in a beautiful grey mottled woollen fabric, the skirt suit is artfully tailored to sculpt the body in an exacerbated hourglass figure. The single-breasted jacket has large powerful shoulders, generous chest, wasp waist and round hips. The skirt is constructed in a bulb shape that continues the shape of the jacket.
The masterful tailoring of Azzedine Alaïa is visible everywhere and makes that both the skirt and the jacket keep a sharp shape at all times. It' the kind of Alaïa suits that one can keep admiring for hours.
Metallic buttons. Two lateral slit pockets with flap and a hidden button. Beautiful asymetric turned cuffs with one button. The skirt closes with buttons and a zipper at the back.

Excellent condition, looks exceptionnally fresh, like new. Not a single flaw on the exterior.
The inside acetate lining looks super fresh too but there is a small hole in the lining of the jacket (at the level of one of the pockets), which of course cannot be seen when worn and is of no significance.
