Vintage Chanel Tailored tweed jacket.

Not real tweed but a textured woven fabric (see close up pictures)

The "Chanel Boutique" label is associated with vintage Chanel items from the era when Karl Lagerfeld was the creative director.

The chain sewn into the hem of a Chanel jacket is a signature feature of the brand's design. Its primary purpose is to add weight to the jacket, which helps it hang perfectly straight and ensures it drapes correctly on the body. This detail helps to counteract the weight of heavy buttons and trim, and prevents the lightweight fabric from riding up. The chain is hand-stitched into the jacket's lining and often matches the colour of the jacket's buttons. This technique was introduced by Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel to ensure the jacket's effortless movement and elegant fit.

It is size FR 40 , size label is missing (please check measurements)
