Courrèges

Anthracite

The first impression is the deep charcoal gray wool blend, tailored with
Courrèges’ signature architectural precision—crisp shoulders, a softly
structured silhouette, and a clean, minimalist front that forgoes visible
hardware or overt branding. The absence of a brand tag is offset by meticulous
French craftsmanship, evident in every seam and the balanced proportions of the
blazer. A product of Courrèges’ late 20th-century atelier, this piece reflects
the house’s enduring commitment to futuristic design and refinement, echoing André
Courrèges’ 1960s revolution in womenswear: pared-back, forward-looking, yet
resolutely elegant. Founded in Paris in 1961, Courrèges brought sharp tailoring
and innovative textiles to the forefront of modern fashion, influencing
generations of designers with its clarity of line and purity of form. The
estimated size, based on measurements, suggests a fit close to a contemporary
small, tailored for a precise yet comfortable silhouette. The wool-blend
exterior shows no visible marks or fraying, with all edges and the lining in
remarkably well-preserved condition; there is no visible hardware, and the interior
remains clean and intact. The mannequin normally wears a size M.

and lining clean, all seams intact, brand tag missing
