Beautiful set from John Galliano’s debut collection for Christian Dior fall 1997. Outer: wool 99% 1% cashmere. Lining: 100% silk. Overall very good condition but has micro holes on both the jacket and skirt that are barley visible (see uploaded photos). These can be fixed by a tailor through a French weaving technique. Minimalistic office-like style. High waist skirt with a silhouette hugging cut with a pure silk lace lining that subtly peaks at the front slit. The jacket is cropped at the waist, with lace pockets and collar. Also contains glass buttons, with each button containing a letter spelling out Christian Dior on both the jacket and skirt. Jacket: shoulders 44 cm, underarm 48 cm, 52 cm long, sleeves from shoulder line is 59 cm. Skirt: waist 38 cm, hips 53 cm, 52 cm long.
