ONE-OF-A-KIND DONNA KARAN COLLECTION SPRING 2000 RUNWAY, MADE IN USA

An exceptional archival piece, as worn on the Donna Karan Collection Spring 2000 Ready-to-Wear runway.

Crafted in the USA from Donna Karan's signature 60% silk / 40% nylon technical fabric, this beautifully engineered jacket exemplifies the fluid, architectural aesthetic that defined the Spring 2000 collection. Vogue described the collection as a fusion of "the past and the future" and the meeting of Eastern and Western influences, featuring paper-thin kimonos, soft jackets and lightweight technical fabrics.

The fabric has a softly crinkled finish with a subtle semi-sheer quality. The silk creates elegant movement while the nylon provides gentle structure, allowing the sculptural silhouette to hold its shape without feeling heavy.
