JOHN GALLIANO by John Galliano
Vintage / Archive Fall Winter 1997 "Suzy Sphinx" Runway Collection: Catwalk Exit #11 and #12
Grey Pinstripe Wool Blazer Jacket with Circular Ruching
Size 44 FR
100% Wool with 100% Silk Lining | Made in France

MAJOR: THE CARRIE BRADSHAW BRIDAL AND THE KENDAL JENNER STREET STYLE BLAZER

EXTREMELY RARE SIZE

This rare and iconic vintage John Galliano jacket from Fall 1997 is crafted from a fine wool blend of ultimate quality and features an extremely refined cut with sculpted shoulders, extra long, slim sleeves and a very unique front with masterfully gathered fabric that comes together in a circular smocked detail that beautifully accentuates the waist.

The jacket closes with Galliano's signature row of fabric-covered buttons and finishes with a curved hemline. It's a marvel and one of the most beautiful jackets ever conceived.

Dior's Resort 2008 collection paid homage to this very jacket, and it was selected by the character Carrie Bradshaw to be worn to her courthouse wedding to Mr. Big.
