Vintage IRIÉ Paris Prince of Wales linen wool jacket Made in France M 38 – circa 1990

Superb IRIÉ Paris jacket with very fine tailoring, made in France from a blend of mostly linen enhanced with wool.

Its black and grey Prince of Wales check brings a very graphic elegance, while the fitted cut, the tailored collar and the three covered buttons give it a silhouette typical of designer tailoring from the late 1980s / early 1990s.

The piece has the historic black IRIÉ label with silver lettering and the leaping feline integrated into the logo.

A particularly interesting detail for dating: the Palais Galliera – Fashion Museum of Paris has an Irié jacket with the same type of label as well as a “MADE IN FRANCE / MODELE DEPOSE” tag, dated after 1987. Another Irié jacket kept by the museum is dated around 1990.

Veste vintage IRIÉ Paris Prince de Galles lin laine Made in France M 38 – vers 1990

Superbe veste IRIÉ Paris au tailoring très fin, réalisée en France dans un mélange majoritairement lin relevé de laine.

Son Prince de Galles noir et gris apporte une élégance très graphique, tandis que la coupe cintrée, le col tailleur et les trois boutons recouverts lui donnent une silhouette typique du tailoring de créateur de la fin des années 1980 / début 1990.

La pièce possède la griffe historique IRIÉ noire avec lettrage argent et le félin bondissant intégré au logo.

Détail particulièrement intéressant pour la datation : le Palais Galliera – musée de la Mode de Paris conserve une veste Irié portant le même type de griffe ainsi qu’une étiquette « MADE IN FRANCE / MODELE DEPOSE », datée après 1987. Une autre veste Irié conservée par le musée est datée vers 1990.
