A deconstructed, fitted blazer by Marithé + François Girbaud, vintage from the early 2000s / Y2K. Made from a lightweight, fine, dark brown technical fabric with a very subtle satin sheen (100% polyester knit), it features a tailored cut and pronounced waist lines. The surface is treated with a tone-on-tone graphic print creating a trompe-l'œil crinkled effect, with small original imperfections (reinforcing its experimental, even DIY, feel). It fastens with a single five-button closure, a narrow tailored collar with thin lapels, and raw-cut seams. The hem is slightly flared with a small center vent at the back. This blazer embodies the couple's aesthetic from the 2000s: experimental tailoring, textile research, and a conceptual approach to clothing. Made in Hungary, licensed by Cravatatakiller

Good condition:

Blazer cintré déstructuré Marithé + François Girbaud, vintage du début des années 2000 / Y2K. En tissu léger / fin et technique marron foncé avec aspect très légèrement satiné ( maille 100% polyester), coupé ajustée, lignes de cintrage marquées. Surface traitée par impression graphique ton sur ton à effet froissé “trompe l'œil”, impressions avec petites imperfections d’origine (renforçant le côté expérimental voire DIY). Fermeture par boutonnage simple à cinq boutons, col tailleur étroit à revers fins, bords des coutures effilochés / raw cut. Bas légèrement évasé avec petite fente centrale au dos.
