This is a showstopper of a jacket, one of a kind, like something Cher would've worn on stage. Purchased in Aspen, CO, in the early 1970's. A true work of art. One owner.

By Tenderness Aspen & Los Angeles, tagged a vintage ladies size 7 (VERY small--like a modern XS). Made of quality soft genuine buckskin leather in creamy beige. Fitted style with an uneven natural hemline, sewn and hand lashed seaming, and even a couple of lashed/repaired holes in the leather (part of the design). The front can be worn open or tied closed with thin braided cording, each adorned with a natural turquoise nugget stone. Six genuine Buffalo Head silver nickels (dated 1920, 1929, 1936, 1937) and two butterfly shaped silver tooled conchos with turquoise centers decorate the front. No pockets.

Measures about 17 1/2 inches across at the back, 16 inches shoulder to shoulder, about 25 inches total sleeve length, and about 24 inches total length from the center back collar top edge to the bottom hem edge.

There is some discoloration at the cuffs as shown--I have not had this cleaned--and I have not polished the natural patina on the silver (I'll leave that up to you if you wish).  Always stored in a climate controlled cedar closet. From my smoke free home.
