A truly beautiful and consciously made piece from Studio Courtenay. This stunning wrap coat is handcrafted in the UK from sustainable deadstock vintage fabric — giving a gorgeous heritage textile a purposeful new life rather than letting it go to waste. The fabric itself is extraordinary: a large-scale painterly botanical print in blush pink, turquoise, golden yellow and pale blue, with the loose, expressive quality of a watercolour painting brought into wearable form.
The construction is generous and considered throughout: a deep lapel collar, long sleeves, a self-fabric belt that ties at the waist for a customisable fit, and the very welcome addition of inseam pockets. The coat is fully lined in soft green cotton, giving it a beautifully finished interior and a comfortable handle throughout.
