This 3-piece Saint Laurent Rive Gauche suit, consisting of a jacket, trousers and a matching skirt, was purchased in 1989, at a private sale in the 11th arrondissement of Paris.
My mother chose it to celebrate her success in an important competition and to mark a turning point in her professional life. Elegant, structured, timeless, it perfectly embodied her ambitions: an exceptional piece for a new stage of her life.
But she ultimately never had the opportunity to wear it, following weight gain.
Carefully preserved by her mother — my grandmother — for more than 30 years, the suit remained intact, new and in perfect condition.
When my grandmother passed away recently, we found this carefully stored set.
An unworn piece, full of meaning, style and memories.
Today, I want to pass it on to someone who will give it a new life.

Tailleur Saint Laurent Rive Gauche – 1989 – 3 pièces – Jamais porté

Ce tailleur 3 pièces Saint Laurent Rive Gauche, composé d’une veste, d’un pantalon et d’une jupe assortie, a été acheté en 1989, lors d’une vente privée dans le 11ᵉ arrondissement de Paris.
Ma mère l’avait choisi pour célébrer sa réussite à un concours important et marquer un tournant dans sa vie professionnelle. Élégant, structuré, intemporel, il incarnait parfaitement ses ambitions : une pièce d’exception pour une nouvelle étape de sa vie.
Mais elle n’a finalement jamais eu l’occasion de le porter, suite à une prise de poids.
Conservé avec soin par sa mère — ma grand-mère — pendant plus de 30 ans, le tailleur est resté intact, neuf et dans un parfait état.
Lorsque ma grand-mère est décédée récemment, nous avons retrouvé cet ensemble soigneusement rangé.
Une pièce jamais portée, pleine de sens, de style et de souvenirs.
Aujourd’hui, je souhaite le transmettre à quelqu’un qui saura lui donner une nouvelle vie.
