Iconic Haute Couture Karl Lagerfeldt Chanel Vintage Spring 1997 Beautiful Soft Yellow Tweed Jacket and Skirt

Extremely rare iconic yellow tweed jacket and skirt from the Chanel Spring 1997 catwalk collection. Lagerfeldt had the sleeves customized by hand stitching with matching lace details to taper over the hands.

Stunningly layered with Chanel jewelry and pearls, each piece can be worn separately with mix-and-match.

Similar suits in various colors were modeled by supermodels such as Campbell and Crawford, as well as fellow Supers Linda Evangelista, Amber Valetta, Claudia Schiffer, and others.

This suit features a slightly cropped jacket and pencil skirt made of exclusive Legarde cross-woven wool in pale yellow and cream, cream trims, with tonal signature CC buttons signed on the back. Tonal pale yellow silk interior CC lining. The jacket has the traditional Chanel feature of a grey chain hand-stitched into the lower portion of the lining to add weight for a great fit.

Excellent vintage condition, 9/10. Only worn a handful of times. Great quality exterior, minor barely noticeable discolorations. The interior has minor scratch marks and a slight yellowing at the armpits. Pencil skirt is in excellent condition, silk lining without blemishes.
