Classic and luxury tailored skirt made in Great Britain made by DAKS Signature, a high-end range from the British heritage brand DAKS
The garment is made from a multi-colored checked wool, featuring a pattern of brown, cream, and red. While the image primarily shows the interior lining and waistband area, this specific plaid pattern and label are consistent with several vintage and contemporary DAKS pieces.
This DAKS Signature skirt, the check pattern is composed of several different colors interwoven in the traditional gun club or houndstooth style:
Light brown/beige: The dominant base color of the fabric.
Dark brown: Forms the primary dark grid lines.
Red/Burnt Orange: Horizontal and vertical accent stripes that add warmth to the pattern.
Blue/Navy: Woven threads that create a cool contrast within the check pattern.
Green: Subtle dark green threads are often incorporated into these traditional DAKS wool patterns to complete the earthy color palette. The inside features olive green.
