Beautifully cut vintage Jaeger skirt in 100 % wool suiting cloth, fully lined in silky tri-acetate. 26 “ waist sits high and the eight-panel construction flares softly to mid-calf for an easy A-line shape (no cling, great swish). Side zip with secure hook-and-bar fastening. Classic black – the sort of quality wool that hardly creases and will last another few decades. 

Condition is very good overall: no holes or stains to the outer wool, just some minor lint and soft fuzz typical for the fabric. Two rips in the inner lining near the hem (shown) – doesn’t affect wear or show when worn, and could be easily mended if needed.

Pair it with a cropped knit and loafers now, then switch to tights, knee boots and a blazer when the weather turns.
