The innovative husband and wife design team of Marithe & Francois Girbaud had two clothing lines that were interchangeable with one another aside from their famous Denim. They had the main line of M&F Girbaud and then their second line was called Cravatatakiller which humorously meant "Kill the Tie". These two lines worked together beautifully, of course the main line was designer expensive but Cravatatakiller was very reasonably priced. The women's division was primarily made from polymide-nylon and elastin and hence was washable and stretched with you, perfect for everyday use or special occaisons. At the end of the day it looked just as smart and fresh as it did in the morning.

They cut their designs with a tremendous amount of detail, asymmetrical and straight lines working together beautifully. This vintage skirt is no exception. It has never been worn and still has the hang tags on it. It was made in approx 2004.

It was named curve skirt and the left side was curved with three relaxed pleats and then the right side of the back of the skirt has a straight 16" pleat that moves as you walk. The zipper is in the front and there is a 2" wide waistband, perfet for a nice wide belt or without it can be slung on the hip.
This skirt works together exceptionally well with the other main line tan crinkled blazer and the white cotton shirt w/ chain that is also for sale here. It is sized as a French 44 or Italian 48 which is comparable to US 12 but depending on the wearer's frame it could also be a size 10

The fabric is made of 72% Polymide-nylon and 28% Elastin-spandex. It is hand washable or gentle machine wash or dry clean. No dryer.
