This fabulous example, is part of a seven-piece capsule collection which takes Viti’s exacting eye and Christina’s Greek charm and translates them into sandals that draw on Mediterranean tradition but remain resolutely modern.

 “I’ve always loved the photographs of Jackie Onassis and Lee Radziwill travelling around the Greek islands and Mediterranean coast in the late 1960s and early 1970s: they were often bare foot or wearing simple leather sandals that are so evocative of precious holidays and endless summers,” explains Viti. 

A clean and elegant sandal– practical enough to be slung in a beach bag (the elaborately-crafted daisies that ordinarily decorate Viti’s eponymous designs have been transformed into simple leather embellishments and are affixed to leather thongs with waxed thread), but chic enough to be worn proudly in the city.
